Famous Georgians and next week
The Famous Georgian essays were great! Students chose to write on everyone from Hulk Hogan and Lucius D. Clay to Jimmy Carter and Ted Turner.
We are finishing our unit this week on the Geography of Georgia and the early Indian period and will be having a test on TUESDAY, August 24. Students will have a study guide that we will complete as a class. The study guide and reviewing their notes will be the best way to study for their test as all questions will come from those two sources.
Please encourage your student to be studying a little each night (reviewing their notes, etc.) and not leave it all until the night before.

Students were given an essay as a homework assignment on Friday that is due Monday at the beginning of class. Students are to choose a famous Georgian that they would like to take to dinner and tell me about it. The students were given a handout with instructions and a sample essay today in class.
